Introduction
Structure Plan (SP) is a written statement explaining the policy and general proposal of the state authority in respect of the development and use of land in the state, including measures for:
  • Improvement of physical living environment
  • Improvement of communication, the management of traffic,
  • The improvement of socio-economic well-being and the promotion of economic growth
  • Facilitating sustainable development
The structure plan shall contain or be accompanied by such diagrams, illustration and descriptive matter to convey the policy and general development proposal of the state:
 
Function of Structure Plan:
  • Translating the policy of the National Physical Plan (NPP);
  • Provide a development framework for the Local Plan (LP);
  • Determine the States major land use and
  • Determine the States key projects.
